"It’s my second time staying at this establishment, and I’ve been happy with both experiences. The hosts are friendly and easy to reach. The rooms and beds are as advertised. Bed was comfortable and clean. There are shared bathrooms and kitchen. The guest house is conveniently located in Koreatown and close to the freeway (if you drive; plus you can pay for gated parking for $5/night or street park for free) and close to bus stop. "Didn’t know what quite to expect and I was absolutely stunned at how quaint and easy to park this was. This is an older house in a neighborhood that has been transformed into a guest house, but fit our needs to a T. If you’re not looking for something fancy-schmancy, I highly recommend."

"Front desk representative is very helpful and a great listener. Room is nice and open. no movie access. great walking distance to restaurants and the Veterans Memorial pier. Would book again. note about room 5. Crack under door. Cover with towel to keep adjusted temperature to comfortable level. AC does not turn off from buttons. Use the buttons on the plug to turn off. "We had a fantastic stay at Casita Gundry! Check in was so easy and we were exhausted after a late flight in from the east coast. Imagine our delight when we woke up the next morning to eggs and incredible pastries waiting for us in the fridge. It was such a blessing to take breakfast off our plate...or put it on rather. LOL Plus the home was just 3 mins from our family we were there to visit - we will absolutely be back!"

"The property owner doesn’t miss a single thing! Having everything a beachside rental should have, and all in good condition, makes the day fun. A gorgeous walk street and a perfect parking spot in the back. Two blocks to the beach and boardwalk, two-three blocks to just about everywhere. The rental is charming and 100% recommended."

"There was a loud fight in our hallway on the last night that we stayed, the front desk person was fast to respond but it was very unsettling. Window’s don’t seal properly so there was a lot of noise pollution from outside. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay! Great location with walkable food options and very spacious units!"

"I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in an ocean front view room. Pros: -location -views -cleanliness -has netflix (living room area only) -basic kitchen tools for cooking/eating. -rooftop patio (very nice to hang out, watch the sunset and do bbq). Cons: -no A/C, so summer time you might not enjoy it. Although it has a ceiling fan in the bedroom, mine was a little noisy. -not soundproof, you can hear footsteps from the suite above and the noise outside the building. -if you like hot showers like...
