Overall the stay was good! It’s in a stellar location, but the building is outdated and our room did not feel like a “Deluxe Room”, the beds were uncomfortable and a loud heating system.

Great location near major attractions. Dining in restaurant with beautiful view of mountain is lovely. Staff accommodating. Bit of a walk to your room; rooms older style but sufficient for a couple of nights.

The staff was very nice. We loved our server in the dining room. We were able to hike trails without moving our car. They had a major asphalt project which the staff did not communicate with us nor did the park service who would have hired the contractors. They asphalted right up to our car which was very concerning. Parking that evening was confusing with zero guidance. Where we parked we ended up with a $180 parking citation by a delightful young park ranger. No one took any responsibility for the confusion and lack of notice. If you stay there ask questions at the front desk.

Parking area is tooo far from the rooms. Saw a bunch of older people struggling with their luggage and the was was on an incline. They had to stop and rest once in awhile.

The food was excellent .. my 1st complaint is you do not have easy access to lodge as a senior carrying luggage . 2nd complaint: You definitely have a lightening issue on your walkway . Walking the path at night from the dining area to our room was a nightmare .. it was too dark , the flashlight on our phone was not enough . I did fall going up the steps .. lucky I didn’t break anything !

The Lodge is in a great location and is convenient to attractions in the park. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are good size and it's nice to have conveniences in the park. The restaurant provides enough options and is open for breakfast and dinner. Overall a great option if you're not the camping or roughing it type and perfect location.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Really rustic, cabin vibe in the main area with fires to sit around in the evening. Restaurant is great with plenty of options and amazing views. Rooms are a little dated but have everything you need, as well as being clean and comfortable. Slept like a baby as it’s also super quiet! Can’t wait to come back!

One awful food item on the menu: the squash and quinoa dinner. It was inedible, and it didn't have to be as squash and quinoa together are delicious. Squash was completely black on the outside and leathery inside, and the quinoa wasn't close to being cooked (it was crunchy). It was horrible. Everything else was just fine!
