Had booked a reservation through Expedia. Drove 2 hours. Walked into lobby, showed confirmation number and front desk said there are no rooms available. Did not offer a reason or any other help. No rooms available, that was it.

Renovation work is sloppy. The shower was shooting water into the ceiling cause ceiling paint to hang from the ceiling. The beds and pillows were not comfortable. Our room had a connecting room door with no sound dampening at all. Whoever, next door came in at 1 AM talking and laughing but not overly loud conversation However, after being startled awake because it sounded like the people were in our bathroom in the room. I could hear the entire conversation, then could not sleep. It was really so bad. Our reservation said holiday inn express but after driving around we went in to find out it was now a Hampton Inn but we're never told. They are renovating. It will be nicer but it is lacking in the areas mentioned. Sloppy Reno work, noisy rooms. Uncomfortable bedding and pillows.

The only good at this hotel was our room. Though, the safe was on the floor and not accessible to use, no luggage racks nor enough room for our clothes and other belongings. Paid $18/day and hotel was under renovations, Noisy with construction employees having to share same elevator. The amenities that were to be included (dining, breakfast, bar, fitness Ctr) were not available. No accommodations or at least be compensated for the inconveniences. Bldg not in a safe area nor close enough to walk to nicer dining or attractions. The staff are rarely seen at the front desk and our door key cards didn’t work properly and had ti exchange them. Very inconvenient for patrons and especially for those coming from out of town.

The hotel was undergoing renovations so the whole lobby area was sectioned off and under construction as were other areas of the property. We were a bit surprised as we did not know this before booking. There was no lobby seating. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean. The best part of the stay was the location, that it was walkable to the historic area.

Construction on every hall. Front desk man was rude. I was looking for a water and he got mad at me. Told me he could give me a warm water. No coffee in am, no breakfast, no blanket or pillows for the pull out sofa. Best part.. $20 parking fee. Yep, you pay extra if you have your car there at the Holiday Inn😂😂

Property was under construction, so it was loud and dusty. e asked for an invoice with a specific name and address for ONE of the 11 rooms, and the person at the front desk refused to change the name and address of the original reservation... This is not the level of service we except from an IHG property.

Not as pictured. When we visited, the whole hotel was under construction! The main lobby had fresh drywall, protective plastic hanging, the carpet was covered with protective sheets, it was dusty and noisy. The hallways were also unfinished. The room was ok., beds were comfy. The restroom however had a loose, shower handle, was very warm, the mirror lights flickered and went out.

No food, no bar, no warning. Hotel is in the middle of a remodel and very dusty. Our room has the toilet seat incorrectly fitted and the flexible reading lights over the bed fell apart leaving bare wires exposed.
