"The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the beach and lake. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the ambience of the fake fireplace. Breakfast was delicious and staff was helpful and it was great to have real dishes. Loved having the bar right there and being able to sit outside by the fire pit. Great bartender, too. Pool and hot tub were great -- both were large and appropriate temperatures. One difficulty was having to go up & down 5-6 steps even after getting on our floor."

"I love the up north Lodge feel of the rooms and property. But everything was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple, but have all the amenities needed for your stay. "

"We had a great stay as a family. We requested two rooms near each other with sinks inside the bathrooms (vs in the main part of the room). They accommodated both requests and gave us adjoining rooms. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. We loved having a lakefront room for such a reasonable price. The beds were comfortable too! We all slept well. Location isn’t far from the ferry docks. The hotel offers kayaks for a low hourly rate. We didn’t get to take advantage of that, but it’s a great amenity. There are also grills and picnic tables out back. Only things to note: breakfast is continental. Would’ve been nice to have some scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Also, the floors are thin, so you can hear your upstairs neighbors walk around. "

"Lake view in all rooms. Felt safe..clean and quiet too. Oddly I rented Days Inn on Expedia then got a confirmation for K Royale Lakeland inn. Confusing! Maps also listed the address as K Royale. Address is a Days Inn. This needs fixed. "
