Modern room. Good shower. Prefer a vanity for toiletries, but there was an open shelf belw the sink for storage.( forgot the hair spray there). Had river view on lower level. Nice grounds. Our slider was difficult to operate despite clear instructions on door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walked to breakfast place across the street. .

Gorgeous, well kept property. Staff is so pleasant. It is an older property. Built in the 60s I would guess. You can tell the age due to the ceiling heights, thin walls and floors. The decor is very mid century modern, clean, minimalist and thoughtful. My room was very small but plenty of room for just myself. The bed and bedding were comfy. The small deck and river view from my room were a real treat.

The room was completely broken down. Mold around the windows, bathroom door hanging by one hinge, peeling paint and mold in the ceiling. The management promised a credit and never came through despite multiple calls. Terrible stay and experience.

Interesting property that is very conveniently located for both access to Stowe Mountain and the town. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the rooms are quite small.

We stayed for a weekend and had the greatest time. Their in-house bar has amazing drinks and snacks (must try the pretzel bites!). The staff were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. We stayed in the king room, it was small but they make it up with great deco, awesome river views, and even as simple as it sounds - providing great coffee options in the room.

Good but noisy.
Great location and price. The only problem we had was noise from other people around us. The floor of the corridor was poorly made so when you walked it was like a trampoline that every step was loud. My wife tried to have a relaxing day reading and sleeping, but kids kept on running up and down the corridor all day disturbing her.

This lodge is super cute and excelle t value. Theyve added an outdoor hot tub, a full service bar with good food options, and some separate cabins since the last time we were there. Grest walking trails across the river and close to Stowe!
