"Good location, a block down from the Town Hall and right opposite the ramp to head to Darling Harbour. The property is a bit old and tired but the rooms were spotlessly clean and quite livable. Had a gym and pool but I'd rate this as a 3 star hotel not a 4 star. That all said, I was quite happy to stay here. It does look like the owners are continuing to improve an older property. My apartment had cooking and laundry facilities which was good."

"The property was very clean, in a good location, the room was large, overall a great property. However, during the day I had my phone snrnwalletnswallet and phone stolen, and when I returned the staff would not let me organise for someone to pay for another night, or even allow me to simply sit on a couch in the lobby. They asked me to leave without anywhere to go, no phone or wallet. I literally slept on the streets in the rain in winter. "

"Ideal for travellers. Very easy access to train which provides International and Domestic airports. Also if you are planning a few days looking around Sydney, this is an ideal location. Complimentary Grab n Go coffee and snacks provided between 6am and 10am was great. Overall very positive experience and highly recommended."

"The Meriton is just wonderful. We had a very spacious 3 bedroom apartment. It was clean and modern. The only downside was the noise from the pool which went until late and started very early in the morning with people yelling and screaming. I don't begrudge people having fun but the noise was just annoying. Pool hours should be in place and enforced if this sort of behaviour is going to happen."
