The hotel was clean, spacious and in a great location; close to everything. My one disappointment was with the staff. As an Expedia Gold member, I was entitled to a partial parking credit, and both complimentary room upgrade and late check out (IF available). When I checked in and mentioned the room upgrade, the front desk agent quickly shut me down and said "No, you only get a parking credit" then immediately moved on and changed the subject. I just wanted to get to my room at that point, so I let it go. When I then called to ask for a later check out (just 1-hour), a different front desk agent immediately said sure and told me it would be $29 for the 1-hour. I then told her I have Expedia Gold, which gives me the late check out for free. She told me to hold and when she came back she said sorry, hotel is full, there is no late check out at all. I was like, but you were just ready to charge me $29 for the hour, how are you now full after I asked for complimentary? She clearly lied, as I then checked the app and had the option to get a room (same as mine) there for that night. If it was full, it would have been sold out. The treatment from the front desk overall was just ridiculous and left a very bad impression.
