Having 2 rooms in the suite was perfect for our needs, beds were comfy, but this is a condo building pretending to be a “hotel”. Check in and check out were horrible as there are many security doors and only given one fob, no help Available from “staff” and no where to pull up and unload easily. No real amenities, but suite has a nice little kitchen with everything you could need. Would not stay again as if I’m paying hotel Prices then I want hotel amenities.

Condo’ view. Wow! Imagine my surprise when I arrived at my stay for 4d, 3nights was a confo’. 9th floor. Amenities all there. Kitchen, laundrette, dining/lounge, bathroom and bedroom. SO convenient. 10min slow walk from Union Station. Located between Entertainment district and Waterfront. All walkable. Easy to get to from airport. Also close to hop on/hop off bus if that’s your thing. Wifi worked well. I couldn’t get the TV to work properly, should be done instructions. (Sure that was my bad). Loved staying here and highly recommend:). Check you junk mail - all my instructions on how to get in went here.

Lovely place with beautiful ornaments. Ample towels and kitchen utensils were provided for. We love the size of the apartment and that we have a proper bedrooms. The only small complaint we had were half the light bulbs were fused so the night was dim. I believe this could be better checked and solved before any check in.

Had a 2 night stay right in the heart of Downtown Toronto. We had 4 in a 3 bedroom and it worked out perfectly. I was a little concerned based on the reviews from others but considering we stayed short-term it wasn’t half bad. The only thing i can point out with our room is that it was a little dirty. The place was the perfect amount of space its just that the bathrooms looked like they needed some work to be done. We had barely spent time in the room as we were out and about in the city so the room worked well for our stay. Parking was a little confusing when we got there, you have to contact the Bay Suites first via phone call for a payment ($30 per day in the buildings underground parking) but all it took was a phone call to pay for it. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to stay a night or two.

The positive: Excellent location! Few hundred meters from the CN Tower, Rogers Center, and Scotiabank Arena. The not so good: Parking instructions indicate parking available underground. Not correct. Parking in underground beside 12 York. Apartment is quite aged. Toilet handle missing; window blinds missing slats so Sun wakes you at sunrise. No TV cable but a streaming service to watch old reruns. Tv remotes didn’t work. Overall, the apartment just felt dirty and just providing the minimum to guests. Just lower expectations and the apartment is just ok

I would never recommend staying at this unit. It was so dirty, as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. One of the beds was broken. Toilet had no button to flush, it was just completely gone. Lights did not work. The list goes on and on. You need to pay for parking separately which I was never notified of and it was a huge run around. Worst overnight stay I have ever had and I travel often.

Not happy with my stay at Bay Suites (ICE Condo). The building and suite was very dated. Cheap furniture. Only half a roll of toilet paper. The shower took forever to drain. Futon sofa was the only sofa and it broke. Laundry was left in the dryer to be folded.

The property was convenient, but the apartment had no towel bars in bathroom. The toilet button to flush was missing. The air conditioner did not cool. The washing machine leaked. Maintenance came to fix it one time and saw nothing wrong. Then they set up a time to come back & never showed. Parking instructions were confusing.

The view was amazing, as I was on the 47th floor. I defiantly would come back and stay here again. The host made sure that I made it to the location as I was on foot and did not know my way around, he made sure I was safe. I really felt safe when I arrived.

12 York Street condo is good, definitely located centrally, with a convenient access for restaurants, transportation (Union Station (UP train), convention center, acquarium, Rogers etc. The reviews that we saw were mixed. Actually the accomodation is much better. The condo we stayed is well furnished and even had utensils, Cremora, adequate storage space, pleasant front desk personnel, Roku TV, bath tub, excellent sound proofing etc. Yes the checkin process is too tedious for US travellers and having only 1 key is inconvenient. We will stay again,

Balcony did not lock properly and main door was sketchy. Had to jimmy rig a homemade alarm system because there were no instruction how to use the alarm system in the unit. Overall pretty poor experience. Pretty dirty, not much to enjoy at all. Got the job done but for a pretty high price and more than I wanted to spend.

This property was mediocre at best. First I had called in to see if there was somewhere we could leave our bags while we waited to check in, as we arrived early. The first lady I talked with said it shouldn't be a problem, she just had to check with her manager and would call me back in 10 mins. I never received that call. When I called in a second time they told they couldn't hear me and would call me back which they never did. Finally I called again and was told that I had to call back in hour. I then proceeded to ask more questions for clarity and when the young man dealing with my call got annoyed with me there was some noise that sounded like lip smacking or foot stomping .He then told me he would call me in 10 mins and surprise, surprise I never got that call. I ended up going and speaking with security who called for me and helped me with the check in process only after they had to get assertive with the person on then phone. They then checked me into a suite that had someone else already in it. There was lots of water damage when we finally got into our suite, along with other damage that had occurred before us. There was very little kitchen tools to make anything while we were there. I will say it was the perfect location as we could walk to all the attractions we had planed to go to. Over all we did make the space work for us, I just felt that we maybe paid more than what we should have for what we got.

The positives are location, you can’t get any better for the price . It was clean , the staff of the building were friendly and helpful, and the host was quick to communicate. I do think 5pm check in is very late compared to air b n bs and hotels. So the fact that they wanted us to wait till 6:30 pm was very frustrating, they needed more time to clean the unit . We walked in on the cleaning crew at 5:30. We had tickets to the ball game, after traveling all day, we needed to freshen up , so we tried to stay out of their way and they cleaned around us. They were very apologetic and nice , but it was an inconvenience and not a great first impression. Having only 1 key and fob ( for entry to building and elevator) was a bit of a hassle as we were a group of 5 that had different plans, so had to figure out sharing of the key ( not able to leave at front desk) . It all comes back to location, would definitely stay again, was value for the money, just have to be prepared for a few bumps .. .

Not like the pictures smells like cigarrettes everywhere not well maintained and the condo had some awfull smell had to leave the windows open, not family friendly couch had cigarette burns on it the futon is very cheap and not comfortable, garbage chute out of service. For the price not worth it you can find better units around the area.
