The Oswego Hotel is awesome! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Victoria. The hotel staff is friendly, kind and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to great restaurants, attractions, and lots of shopping. Parking was easy and the onsite restaurant was very good. An amazing place for a vacation!

The hotel itself is nice. The lobby, room, and areas surrounding the hotel were great, as is the location. The check in was terrible. We had a late check in, arriving around 10:50 pm. The girl at the desk told us we could go park our car, and then because it was a late check in, the keys were in the room already and the security guard would be showing us to our room, as desk staff was going home. When we came back in from parking, everything was turned off, everyone was gone, and no security guard around. There was a sign saying guest services will be happy to help us at 7am. There was also no contact info to get in touch with anyone, nor was there a phone even available if there was. We waited and walked around looking for someone, and were about to cancel the charge and go find a new place to stay when security finally appeared after more than half an hour of searching and waiting. He also was not dressed as or identified as security, in plain clothes, and didn't say anything to us at all. Very weird experience there, but thankfully the room was nice.
