"The short steep stair access and low ceilings are certainly real but we (80 and 73) managed just fine. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the location, spaciousness and kitchen outfitting were great...which made for a very nice 3 night stay--much of which was wet and cold! Thank you"

"A beautiful peaceful setting in the countryside close to all the travel and experiences along the Able Tasman area. We had four full on busy days there and it was great to be able to return in the early evening to relax and have full cooking facilities to enjoy our catch from the Anatoki Salmon Farm. We enjoyed our peaceful starts to the day with freshly baked bread and farm eggs and delicious plums from the next door neighbour. The company of the resident farm animals was an added bonus. Our...

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the log cabin. Such a beautiful spot for some R&R. The cabin is decked out beautifully and stays wonderfully warm with the fire. We can’t wait to go back and have recommended the place to all our family and friends!"

"As cyclists on the great taste trail, this property had everything we could possibly want. The location is very peaceful and is near river access. The house has been tastefully redecorated while keeping a 'bowling' theme. I wish we could have stayed more than one night. Excellent."

"We had spent almost a week up in Abel Tasman Park at Awaroa so had been busy hiking, swimming and watching the tides. After all the running about, boat trip up and back this was a super relaxing stop for a couple of days. The view out over the river to the sea and distant mountains is fantastic and we woke up to a brilliant red sunrise. We did laundry and fed some of my breakfast croissant crumbs to the chickens. Its was great."
