"Our stay was good, that being said. It’s listed as being secluded and private. It’s far from private and only secluded because of the location. The need to list that the hot tub is not private and it is not next to the house.. it’s across the muddy pine needle filed parking area and down a muddy trail. The hot tub is a great feature, but if your looking for seclusion and privacy.. this may not be the place for you. The house has a spa bathtub, that would be great if the neighbors construction...

"We were in town for a wedding and this cabin was great for my husband, adult son, teen son, 2 labs and Me! Trail up hill in back is a thigh burner but a great start to the morning. Dogs were happy roaming the fenced property. Cabin has everything you need although internet is spotty at times. C stores in Cougar have are stocked if you forgot something, only 1.5 mile away. Resort restaurant (Log Fir?) has EXCELLENT food. Burgers were delicious, chili cheese fries amazing and my husband had stew,...

"We stayed for a weekend volleyball tournament and found it to be perfect for our needs. Our family of 4(2 adults & 2 teen kids) and the grandparents, had just the right amount of space for a quick trip. We enjoyed playing games and having meals together at the table, loved the private courtyard and easy coded entrance for check-in. The house was simple and clean, just what we hoped for. Thank you!"

"The Lewis River flows by just outside the door of this marvelous house. The well-stocked kitchen (condiments! Sharp knives! Toaster!) was super nice to use, and stores are a short drive away in Woodland. The homemade salmon dip was amazing! The hosts were friendly and helpful and stayed out of our hair once we checked in. "The property sits on a beautiful piece of land with the river right at it's footsteps. However, the railroad also sits very closely to this property, like about 500 ft. I never saw mention that the trains run 24/7 blowing their horns all night long. My husband and I got absolutely no sleep after driving all day. I did find some earplugs in the bathroom the next morning but if I have to wear earplugs to sleep at your property, I'll pass. This wasn't a cheap night of no sleep either. I am a former...

"This place was actually better than I expected. I invited my Daughter in law along with her baby boy and 4 year old. The home is beautifully done with everything you could ask for. One huge stand out for me was the fact that you can enjoy total privacy on your own lake. Highly recommend this spot. Made some great memories there."
