"We loved our 7-night stay at Hilltop vacation rental! We had the economy room with a view of the ocean and it was very cool to wake up to the sun rising. The room was clean, there was a shower and bathroom and all of the necessary essentials for our stay—coffee maker, small fridge, etc…The parking was a bit tight, but our rental Jeep fit into the parking spots! "If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. "I stayed two nights in Wolfie One. It was like a private cabin in a tropical forest. It is one of four units in a single building each unit having one corner of the building. There is a parking space, a nice, covered porch outside the entry, then a living room, a bedroom and a bath. In the living room there is a small refrigerator, a coffee maker but no microwave. There is a TV and DVD player. Do read the small instruction card to learn how to turn on the cable box and the TV. The water is NOT potable but a jug of drinkable water is provided. I had to keep the bedroom door closed to keep the smoke detector quiet. The check-in desk is at the nearby but separate Ace Hardware store which is unusual but workable. I had breakfast at the nearby Kilauea Lodge; highly recommended. I also enjoyed Ohelo Cafe for lunch."
