"Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Loud music from the hotel's reception played late at night meant that sleep was almost impossible. Also the layout of the rooms on the ground floor meant that the shower from one room was adjacent to the bedroom in the next room (with a glass screen in between), so that the noise of the shower plus any noise from the next room could be heard all too clearly. "The room and entire hotel area was very clean and the AC in the rooms worked very well. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate any special request. The beach are by the lake was lovely, well maintained and beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel. "

We could hear loud club music from another hotel or restaurant nearby but I was still able to sleep. An easy 10 minute walk to restaurants on Flores island. "The location of this hotel was the nicest thing about it but there are many hotels of equal quality next door and around the corner that I will check out the next time I am in Flores. The owner was nice enough and checked us in. The hotel was an Ecolodge that used rain water/solar for hot showers and that they are energy conscience. Our room was fine, bathroom was very small--sit on the toilet and hit your knees on the door. We had no soap for washing your hands or showering with. We had to ask...
