"Spent three nights. Nice modern hotel. Large room with 2 double beds, large bathroom, kitchen area. Exercise room, tiny pool (2 ft depth), & sauna on top floor. Standard SA breakfast. Wine tasting every evening. Staff was generally okay. Be warned, there are a lot of fees on top of the room cost. Of course, breakfast & wine tasting. But also change of towels & change of linens that were not explained up front. It adds up."

"Our stay here was super and we enjoyed our time in Montevideo so much partly because of this hotel! The room we had (top floor, balcony) was a huge space in which we enjoyed spending our time. The drawback was the bathroom, very weak shower but that is the only issue worth noting!"

"Part of the blame lies with hotels.com but after our reservation was lost the situation was handled poorly. The male owner said we did not have a reservation after being shown the receipt and said we could stay if we paid again and that we could then cancel our paid for non refundable reservation on our own. After they found the reservation the receptionist still tried to blame the site and us after we tried to place a complaint. The rest of the stay was uncomfortable."

"Location was great- walkable to/from ferry and bus terminal. Also close to heart of historic area and also more modern shopping and restaurant area. Breakfast excellent also. Only improvement could be room door keys-very old locks and hard to lock- never could figure out how to lock from inside."

Nice stay for a flight

"My wife and I stayed at the Hampton (double room king bed - lake view) for one night in October 2024. We stayed at the airport as we had an earlyish flight the next day. The check-in was a breeze, and the room was perfect for our stay. Large, well-appointed, very modern, quiet and clean, with a great view of the lake. The hotel is just five minutes from the airport and has free parking. They don’t have airport shuttle service, but Taxis and Ubers are readily available. All in all, a perfect place to stay if we are flying into, or out of Montevideo airport."
