The grounds are immaculate, and the community pool is very nice. The condo itself is very old and we knew that, and we would have gave 5 stars all around, but condo was not clean, mirrors and appliances and balcony doors looked like they had not been cleaned in quite awhile. "Wonderful setting, probably the BEST patio view of ocean of the entire condo property. Right on beach, 100% ocean view and top floor. Short walk from parking. Property was well maintained and wonderful. We used it all and had a great visit. Overall property was nice as well, including put golf, pools, and grills. We discovered several awesome restaurants, shops and even got some tattoos locally. Maui is expensive, but this place was worth the investment of memories and the community was great...

"We went to the Honua Kai with our 3-year-old daughter as a recommendation from a friend who had gone earlier in the year with their one-year-old. We went for the ability to have washer-dryer, kitchenette, pools that were family-friendly, and an on-site store and restaurant. It lived up to our requirements with regards to everything. I also used the gym which was adequate for what I used it for (primarily treadmill running - when I didn't run on the beach, that is). Would recommend!"
