"Great 2 bedroom condo. Spacious and very clean. Walkable to many restaurants including Whalers village which is right next door. 2 drawbacks : shower temperature was off and hard to adjust, shower was cold for at least 5 min before becoming warm and a very loud noise was always present coming from the generators in whalers village. Our balcony was on that side and it took away from the experience of just sitting outside. Recommend u get condo unit on the opposite side. But otherwise truly a...

"We really enjoyed staying at the Whaler! It's very convenient in terms of beach access, shopping, and a veriety of restaraunts. The concierge was very helpful in booking trips and the staff was very friendly! Our condo specifically could use new pillows as they were old and flat. Otherwise, we enjoyed staying at the Whaler and would recommend it to friends. "

Staff was always friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Check in after hours was a breeze. Cool pool area we never used. "Nice location with good view of the ocean and mountain from the outdoor space. Great for family. We had one minor maintenance issue during our stay, owner was very responsive and the issue was resolved quickly by the on site maintenance crew. Would definitely come back."

"My husband and I stayed at Stan's place after a week in our Ka'anapali timeshare. We loved being on the ground floor and having a great view of the water. The condo had everything we needed and plenty of room. We enjoyed walking to the food truck park to pick up dinner or going to the fish market just down the road. I love walking the beach every day, and it was so easy to do from this condo. The sound of the waves helped us to go to sleep each night. We definitely plan to stay here again!"

"Very cute condo that is well maintained and upgraded with stunning views of water. Also, very well stocked.. snorkels, boogie boards, chairs, etc which is a really nice plus. Host provided great instructions, communication, and was very kind. Would definable recommend staying here and would stay again if we come back to Maui"

"We went to the Honua Kai with our 3-year-old daughter as a recommendation from a friend who had gone earlier in the year with their one-year-old. We went for the ability to have washer-dryer, kitchenette, pools that were family-friendly, and an on-site store and restaurant. It lived up to our requirements with regards to everything. I also used the gym which was adequate for what I used it for (primarily treadmill running - when I didn't run on the beach, that is). Would recommend!"
