"This was a lovely place, close to Rt9, but seemed so far away! Our suite on the top floor was very clean and comfy, though tall people might beware of the dormer roof in the bathroom. A great spread for the continental breakfast in the dining room. And there are lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance. Claudia is a great host, very helpful but not intrusive."

"Beautiful place to stay, very clean and serviced every day. Rooms very large, more like a suite. With the advantage of down stairs communal kitchen, dinning room and small sitting room. A bbq and decking which would be brilliant in summer months. Would definitely recommend this property to any one. "

"We really like staying at unique or historical properties. The Daniels house was both. The Hostess at breakfast was very friendly and helpful with our questions about parking for my brother who was coming to meet us. Would stay here again. The only con would be thevceiling height in the 3rd floor rooms."

"A great find, very cozy, but not chintzy at all. Rooms comfortable, very quiet neighborhood, parking available, very close to the T, nice walkable, downtown, easy to get to, nice breakfast, helpful but unintrusive hosts, and an adorable cat!"

"I added a review on another site, but my two nights stay was wonderful. The hosts were very friendly and shared things to do, places to go. There were lovely breakfast buffets each morning. I will definitely consider another stay here. "

"We loved staying at the Salem Inn! The room was unique and beautiful and it is in a great central location (basically right across from the Witch House). The only downside was that there was no elevator and our room was on the third floor, but they do have a dumbwaiter to bring your luggage up for you. We had an excellent breakfast included as well. Would definitely stay there again. "

"We had a wonderful 1 week stay at the Old Corner Inn! We loved the location. It was less then 2 hours to the train and had great parking! The innkeeper Mike was so friendly and wonderful! He helped us plan our excursions! He went out of his way to make sure our trip was wonderful and special"

"Irving House is fairly conveniently located for access to Harvard Square/Cambridge. The single occupancy room was tiny but had everything I needed. The shared bathrooms were very clean and there were enough to avoid any waits. The building is a bit old and creaky, but overall comfortable and quiet. If you need the latest in mod cons, this probably isn't the place, but I enjoyed the old-school rooming house ambiance as well as the low price."

"Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood right across the river from downtown Salem and most attraction. Very walkable when the weather is nice. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for groups traveling together. Communication with the host was easy, Meg was very responsive. Decent sized outdoor space with a grill and patio furniture. Really enjoyed our Salem experience and would rent again the next time we come here. Only suggestion I have that would be a nice enhancement would be a hot...
