"There is nothing wrong with the property. It is a slightly bit dated, but it is a great place to stay. I have stayed here for both business and leisure. The location is good however, it is surrounded by other run down locations. I assume big storms have ravaged this location. Overall, I will continue to stay here while on the Hilo side of the Big Island. There is a smell of mold on the building entry passageway from storms impacting the carpet. "This property was beautiful, quiet and the staff is amazing. Its a little drive to Hilo but worth it. So much to see and do in the area. They also have a book in the room that is a wealth of information about the area. It is available to buy and we advise to get a copy. We highly recommend cottages to anyone traveling to the area. "

"The host was very friendly, and shared some great tips for visiting the Hilo area. Check-in/out instructions were helpful and easy to follow. The building itself is a little tired and could use some updating/cleaning. The unit was well equipped and cozy. The beds were not particularly comfortable and overall I would rate the accomodations as 4 star"

"Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. Will be sending many people their way. Stop looking around and book this place!!"
