"Loved the little window seat overlooking Central Park. Close to the subway, and also walkable to a number of places. Only part that felt a little weird was the bathroom being a fishbowl. There are curtains and stuff to separate the bathroom and bedroom areas, but you can definitely hear everything through the sliding door. I also generally prefer to have a place to unpack (like a dresser), and the wardrobe wasn't ideal. But these are things you can see from the room pics, so it isn't a rating...

"I stayed in A.k.A Central Park, while I was working in NYC, I liked the rooms they were large for NYC standards, and I liked the amenities and the location. I didn't particularly appreciate that my room was only cleaned one day during my stay, if I wanted everyday service I had to pay $75. I did not know this while I was looking and booking. "

"Location is excellent and the hotel is very clean. They upgraded our room to a slightly bigger one when I asked if we could be on a higher floor. Rooms are nicely updated, great rainfall shower—pretty small but, this is NYC. Couldn't believe how close to Central Park and Times Square it is. You will not be disappointed. Couldn’t find it at first because it is totally covered with scaffolding but it was worth the search "
