"The house worked well. A nice base for exploring Hilo side of island. We particularly like the large porch. We enjoyed watching the feral chickens in the yard and hearing the sounds of nature in the evening. The roosters do crow very early but we went to bed early so it didn't bother us."

"Our stay was good, overall. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped to make family meals. The pool was perfect in every way. When we arrived, there was hair on the bottom of the fridge and a spill of something red and pungent (chili dauce?) in one of the drawers. There was also a lot of debris in the back of the fridge.
