"This is just about perfect! Your own beach. Your own pool. Edwin and Erma were incredible - we were there during a storm and Edwin worked hard to keep the generators going and our power was undisputed (most of the other houses we noticed had no lights) Erma provided impeccable term down service and we enjoyed a beautiful meal cooked by our hosts right on the beach - incredible lobster and margaritas. Hosts were also very mindful about our privacy - just perfect. Mack was 100% reachable and helpful at all times. We hope we are lucky enough to come back again. A really memorable stay, worth the splurge for a special celebration (our 25th)"

"The parking is right in front of the hotel, the pool is bigger than it looks and very nice and clean, the beach was calm and there are many seating options including hammocks on a beautiful dock, the rooms were very clean and comfortable with large bathrooms, water bottles were free, complimentary breakfast was excellent and you could order from many choices (hot food), plus staff were helpful and friendly. Beautiful location at a great price! Highly recommend. There are other hotels nearby where you can also walk to dinner if you wish to change your scenery at dinner or lunch. Also, this place was good for people looking to relax or families- not a party scene."

"We had a great stay. Cheryl was very communicative and very easy to deal with. This house sits right on the bay and is just stunning to wake up to the sunrise every day. The rooms all have cold AC and the showers were always hot. It is truly amazing when you first roll into the private gates and just take the view in. Samuel takes care of the property and any requests or needs you may have. He speaks good English too and is great to work with. Maricela kept our place tidies up every single day. It was nice to come home to a clean home after being out adventuring around. We had Samuel and Maricela prepare multiple breakfast and dinner meals for us as it just made life easier. There are a few good restaurants nearby, but having an infant child who already had a long day --- it was nice to just sit back and have dinner already made for us. GREAT HOSTS - GREAT LOCATION -- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EXPERIENCE!!"

"The property is beautiful. Paradise. The caretakers kept the Villa pristine and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Manuel and Araceli cooked a number of dinners for us and a special Mayan breakfast. Our family greatly enjoyed the pool and beach. Snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding ng added to the fun. All in all it lent itself to a memorable family vacation,"

"Villa Vidorra is truly a five star vacation. 1. Barbara takes care of EVERYTHING for your stay in order to make it seamless from time of arrival to time of departure. She suggests various excursions in the event the group is interested, and also handles everything to book it. She is an amazing concierge! 2. The villa is located in a private neighborhood on Soliman Bay. The grounds are very well maintained. The housekeeping team keeps the villa extremely clean throughout your stay. The villa, pool, and beach were all immaculate. 3. Chef Manual, sous chef Angel and bartender Luis are there to serve all of your needs. Our group could not decide which meal was best because they were all delicious. (although - our group did vote our steak/lobster night the best!) Luis crafts whatever cocktail you are in the mood for that day and is more than willing to try new recommendations! Our group was so sad leaving this wonderful team after our week of relaxation. (side note - if they could bottle and sell their salsas.... we would buy a dozen!!) 4. I would highly recommend the following activities: snorkeling in the bay, organizing a yoga session out by the pool, & MASSAGES! We also enjoyed the catamaran excursion (but have them take you to the bay for the full time... better snorkeling there) 5. If you wanted to give Chef Manual a break - we highly recommend dinner at the Jashita hotel 2 doors down. Conclusion - we will absolutely be back to Villa Vidorra. Soliman Bay was perfect."
