Felt completely safe on hotel grounds and while there was a certain rusticness to be expected from huts without completely closed walls, we didn't have issues with bugs and the property was remarkably clean. "We absolutely LOVED our stay! We wanted to stay in the “hotel zone” and could walk to all of Tulum’s best beach clubs and restaurants. Room was stunning and we are pretty picky. Spacious, luxurious, AC worked perfectly (which can be rare in Tulum). There was hardly any seaweed on the beach and the water was crystal clear blue (went beginning of May). Staff was super friendly. Great value "

"Just spent 6 days at Be Tulum and it was fantastic. The staff are friendly and every attentive and the hotel was immaculately well kept, even with the seaweed that is in season right now.
